I’ve done a fair bit of traveling in my time. From business trips to personal vacations, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some truly beautiful places around the world. Some people want to travel the world so badly that they completely forget where they live. They want nothing more to do with their roots, they simply want to travel. And while visiting other locations is great, one should never forget where you come from and where you live. As a resident of Hershey, Pennsylvania, I figured I would list a few things to do and see when visiting our beautiful community.

Hersheypark

Quite possibly one of the most obvious stops in Hershey, PA is Hersheypark. Known the world over for its state-of-the-art rides, one-of-a-kind experiences and close affiliation with some of the world’s most popular candy, Hersheypark has something to entertain everyone. With over 70 attractions, including 13 roller coasters and a full-fledge boardwalk experience, Hersheypark offers hours of family-fun entertainment. While you’re there, make sure to stop at Hershey’s Chocolate World, a one-stop-shop for any Hershey fan to learn about the storied history of the company and indulge yourself in the company’s delicious treats.

Hershey also features the beauty of nature at Hershey Gardens. Bring the family and visit the Butterfly Atrium or simply take a nice, calming stroll through one of the 11 themed gardens.
